Campus Life

Students Say

Students here 鈥渁re very friendly, the environment is relaxed, and everyone seems to be happy,鈥 and 鈥渟tudents constantly meet up for activities and studying.鈥 While the atmosphere can be competitive, it 鈥渇eels like a friendly competition.鈥 As one student puts it, 鈥淚f anything, we are most competitive with ourselves instead of with each other.鈥 The environment is one where 鈥渨hen someone wins an award or is featured in an article, we all rave and hype up our peers.鈥 The school hosts 鈥渟ome fun events like little fairs and other interactive festivities,鈥 and students appreciate the proximity to outdoor recreation like 鈥渟kiing and climbing.鈥 The law school has 鈥渁 beautiful building with great resources,鈥 including 鈥渁reas for relaxation, leisure, eating, exercise, quiet study, collaborative study, and more,鈥 and 鈥渆very room has a view.鈥 Many students are married or in long-term partnerships, and the school has 鈥済reat accommodations and resources for pregnant students/moms.鈥 There is 鈥減lenty of accessible housing in the area, and it's fairly easy to live car-free as a law student here with the surprisingly good public transit.鈥 Overall, the 鈥渃ommunity here is incredible.鈥 Looking back, one student says, 鈥淚t was my home away from home for three years. It makes me wish law school was longer.鈥
