I've been writing, editing, and teaching both casually and professionally since I left college. I've edited for university professors and helped students improve their skills and tighten up their prose many times. Writing and communication have always been major passions of mine.

I Love Tutoring Because

I'm a private teacher and I love helping students turn a confusing problem into a clear solution and, hopefully, a useable skill! I like being there for the "aha" moment that gives my students confidence, just like a lot of teachers were for me when I was learning to write, play music, and do any of the other activities I'm now proud of doing well.
