Career Experience

For the past 20 years, I have been working for a school district in a small Connecticut town. I am certified in language arts and love to share my knowledge of books and language with students. Past work experiences also gave me opportunities to become a better writer, and I am always willing to pass on ideas and help to students with writing assignments.

I Love Tutoring Because

I am able to interact with so many people from so many areas and backgrounds. It is fascinating to me to see what students are working on and creating.

Tutor seemed to not want to spend much time on my document even though she found multiple problems within it, instead of explaining how to do it she gave me links to external cites and wasn't very specific.

Responses could be quicker. The tutor marked feedback within the Word doc itself instead of directly saying it in chat. This slowed down communication, and it doesn't even show up on the transcript since it was screenshare.
