Career Experience
I've spent the last decade designing and building software systems that handle massive scale, and I currently work as a Forward Deployed Engineer where I get to solve real-world problems directly with clients. What really excites me is the intersection of software engineering and research, which is why I'm pursuing my PhD in Information Technology focusing on how AI and machine learning can improve healthcare outcomes. I work primarily with Python, Django, React, and AWS, and I love the challenge of making systems that are both powerful and reliable.
I Love Tutoring Because
I've experienced firsthand how intimidating new technologies can feel when I made the leap from Java to Python or when I started diving into machine learning alongside my full-time work. Those moments when something finally makes sense after struggling with it are incredibly rewarding, and I want to create those moments for others. I genuinely believe that technical concepts aren't inherently difficult, they just need to be explained in the right way. My favorite part of tutoring is finding that perfect analogy or explanation that makes everything click, whether we're tracking down a tricky bug, untangling an algorithm, or just building someone's confidence that they can do this.
